The forward thinking team at The Lemon Tree are always one step ahead in promoting Donegal and food tourism in the County. The Molloy family (owners of The Lemon Tree Restaurant) have dedicated a whole wall in their restaurant to local food producer stories and have recently added a fabulous Donegal food producers map, designed by their graphic designer (and cousin) Lisa Gildea.

Lemon Tree Producers Map-Donegal Food TOurs

Chef at The Lemon Tree and Failte Ireland food ambassador Chris Molloy was recently invited along with his cousin Lisa to the launch of ‘Boyne Valley Flavours’ to tell their Donegal Food story and present the Boyne Valley initiative with their very own food producers map.

It has been a busy month for the Molloy family championing Donegal food nationally and winning Best Casual Dining experience in Donegal at The Irish Restaurant Awards at The HillGrove Hotel in Co. Monaghan a couple of weeks ago.

Chris has also been busy preparing for this years ‘Off the Street LK’ Food Festival where he is part of the dynamic team of organisers. This event keeps getting better each year with Derek and Anna Walker from ‘NatNoot-The Natural Nutrition Co’ and Jimmy Stafford making this one of Donegal’s most successful recurring events.
