Join us on a guided food tour around the world famous fishing port of Killybeg’s. Meet the local fishermen, producers and restauranteurs who are at the heart of Donegal’s food story. Taste some of the freshest seafood straight from the Atlantic Ocean with a glass of local tipple in hand on this 3.5 hour (walking) tour of one of Donegal’s tastiest towns.

This tour will feature the famous Andersons Boathouse Restaurant. We will meet Head Chef and Proprietor Garry Anderson for a taste of his award winning Seafood Chowder. We will then go a short walk over to Shines Tuna HQ to meet the face of Shines Tuna, Ciara Shine herself. We will taste some of Shines beautiful range of products and learn a little bit about the Tuna fishing industry here. Next stop on our Killybegs Food Tour is The Fish Stop. Here we will meet local Fishmonger Ronan Cunningham and try Atlantic Treasures delicious Smoked Mackerel. After that its onto Ahoy Cafe, a stunning little spot overlooking the harbour. Guests will be treated to some local Crab Sliders on Gallaghers bread from nearby Ardara with Portnoo Market Garden Salad and we will meet with Ahoy Owner Claire Keeney and Head Chef Daniel Mullarkey. Our last stop on this tasting tour is The Fleet Hotel. Head Chef Tommy Curley will serve up some of his famous Sriracha Shrimp as well as line caught Calamari which is caught in near by Dunkineely.

There will also be a little bit of a tipple on this tour so leave the car at home and savour the day fully. We look forward to seeing you on our Killybegs Food Tour soon!
